Concrete Advantage

List Of Concretes We Offer

At Concrete Advantage, we provide a wide range of concrete requirements to all commercial and residential property owners.

Mix Designs We Serve

We use a specialized design from the Department of Transportation (DOT), and that which is required by the Florida Department of Transportation. This mix falls in between our 3000 psi and 4000 psi engineered mixes.

3000 PSI Concrete Mix

Our 3000 PSI concrete mix is the standard mix that is most widely used and reaches a compressive strength of 3,000 psi (20.7 MPa) in 28 days. This concrete strength is used in most residential and commercial applications.

4000 PSI Concrete Mix

4000 PSI concrete mix reaches a compressive strength of 4,000 psi or (28 MPa). This strength is usually used in commercial applications where heavy machinery or forklift traffic is expected.

5000 PSI Concrete Mix

5000 psi concrete mix is our high strength mix and is strong enough to carry a compressive strength of 5,000 psi or (34 MPa) at 28 days. Our concrete may be specified at other strengths as well.

Other Strengths Of Our Concrete

The concrete we manufacture at Concrete Advantage is flow-able fill mixtures and are combinations of cement, water, and fine aggregate (sand). It is a self-compacting low strength material with flowing consistency. It has a compressive strength between 300 psi or (2.1 MPa) to 1200 psi or (8.3 MPa) at 28 days.

Higher Tensile Strength Capacity

Fiber mesh fibers are distributed in all directions throughout the concrete mix. As micro cracks begin to appear due to shrinkage as water evaporates form the concrete (plastic shrinkage), the cracks intersect with the fibers, which block their growth and provide higher tensile strength capacity at this crucial time."

Why Site-Mixed Concrete?

Volumetric concrete mixed on-site is a more convenient and efficient way.

Our Process

The raw materials, sand, stone, cement, and water needed to produce concrete arrives at the job site in separate compartments on our mobile batching plant through trucks.
As per the application and volume needed, fresh-made, custom concrete is created instantly at your home or job-site. With the Desired slump by the proper adjustment of the cement, sand, rock, and water ratios, we can produce freshly mixed on-site concrete.

Volumetric Concrete Batching

This process is called volumetric concrete batching and is essentially the same process used before loading a barrel type concrete truck. Volumetric concrete trucks have been around since the 1950′s and are used by municipalities, the US military, and governments worldwide.

Concrete Advantage

Saving Earth’s Valuable Resources

Our method of on-site mixing helps us save the earth’s valuable resources. When concrete is delivered in the traditional barrel truck, any product not used has to be deposed of. This allows us to even thousands of yards per day throughout the world of non-renewable resources being wasted.

Concrete Advantage

Slump Control

Suppose you need a different slump for a portion of the concrete you need. For example, part of a driveway might be flat, in which case a higher slump may be used. Another area of the driveway may be sloped, so you might want to lower the slump. Our system will facilitate that requirement.

Easy Cleanup

At the end of the pour, our truck just drives away. If you use an alternative method, you may be disposing of bags or cleaning out a mixer or trying to figure out what to do with the leftover concrete dumped on your property or job site. Feel free to contact us for any questions you may have regarding these products and how they fulfill your concrete requirements. Our team will be happy to hear from you.
